The ProTech® HVAC filter drier extracts moisture from the refrigerant and lubricant by absorbing and retaining moisture deep within the desiccant pellets. The desiccation process in the AC drier filter is specifically designed to excel in moisture removal. With its high activation level, it maximizes water retention capacity, allowing the core to eliminate a significant volume of water in a single operation, thereby shielding the expansion valve of the filter drier against potential freezing.
